A trauma-informed, early intervention programme designed to support mothers and daughters whose relationships have been impacted by experiences of domestic abuse and family adversity.

The programme provides a structured, supportive space to:

  • Rebuild trust and communication

  • Strengthen emotional wellbeing and resilience

  • Develop confidence and a sense of identity

  • Learn practical personal safety and self-protection skills

  • Connect with others through shared experience and peer support

Through a combination of relationship-based activities, emotional literacy work, and age-appropriate self-defence sessions, the programme addresses both the emotional and practical impacts of trauma, helping families move forward together.

Importantly, the programme also creates safe opportunities for mothers to connect with one another, reducing isolation and enabling peer-to-peer support, shared understanding, and informal networks that can continue beyond the programme.
