Testimonial for the Safe To Go Project:

"The sessions were delivered by Louise from Youth Safety First, who was fantastic throughout. She covered a range of important topics including stranger danger, online safety, recognising safe people, understanding personal space and many more. The content was well planned and clearly tailored to suit our Year 6 pupils, particularly in supporting them as they prepare for their transition to high school. The children always looked forward to Louise coming back into school.

The children were highly engaged during the sessions and clearly enjoyed taking part. The discussions and conversations that took place were very meaningful, with pupils feeling comfortable sharing their thoughts and asking questions. It was clear that the sessions helped them think more carefully about their personal safety both in person and online.

Overall, the programme had a very positive impact on the pupils. It supported their confidence and awareness around safety and gave them practical strategies they can use in real-life situations.

We would definitely recommend these sessions to other schools and would love for Louise to return in the future."
