TRUSTED

ADULTS

#NOSECRETS

  • Trusted adults are those who you feel safe & comfortable to talk to & ask for help.

  • SAFE ADULTS NEVER ASK YOU TO KEEP SECRETS!! and other adults in your life should know who they are.

  • Trusted adults will never make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

  • If you feel worried about talking to a trusted adult, you can send a message, write down your thoughts on paper or ask a friend to support you.

  • If you are unsure about who your trusted adults are, take time to make a list of the people around you that help you stay safe. Like on the example below.

Lots of young people do not feel like they have anyone they can talk to. If you feel like that then you can contact Childline for free on 0800 1111. Visit their website for more information or to chat on-line. There are also message boards where you can talk to other young people about your concerns.
