


Building Safer Smarter Futures Through Life Skills

The YSF LEVEL UP CURRICULUM offers a unique, expertly designed life skills programme to equip children and young people with essential tools to navigate real-life challenges with confidence and resilience. Covering a broad spectrum of topics - from personal safety to emotional intelligence.
​Topics include:

Personal safety at home and in the community

Online safety and digital awareness

Anti-social behaviour, conflict resolution, and violence prevention

Communication skills, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and decision making
​
Carefully developed in collaboration with young people, youth workers, and educational professionals, this curriculum is fully aligned with the Areas of Learning and Experience in the new Welsh Curriculum. It's designed for flexible delivery - easily intergrated into existing lesson plans over a half term (6 weeks) or full term (12 weeks).

Currently tailored for learners aged 8 to 12 (years 4 to 7), the programme offers a strong foundation in both practical safety and essential life skills - empowering the next generation to stay safe, think critically, and thrive in a complex world. ​​​

​Level Up can be delivered as a full programme across the academic year or as standalone modules.
Our Train the Teacher initiative provides educators with the tools and training to confidently deliver modules at their own pace, integrating essential safety education directly into classroom learning.
